We are pleased to welcome Ned McCann who joins the Maine Children’s Alliance this month as our new vice president. Ned will be an important addition to our organization, helping MCA President/CEO Dean Crocker lead our efforts on behalf of children, youth and families in Maine.
His responsibilities as vice president will include helping to: frame and pursue our public policy work; forward our development and fundraising; supervise staff and MCA projects; and further our child advocacy messaging.
Ned brings an impressive set of experiences to MCA. Before this, he held leadership positions for four years with Maine’s Department of Labor, most recently as Deputy Commissioner. He also worked as an organizational consultant, spent several years with Maine AFL-CIO, and also served in Maine’s Office of the Senate President. He currently holds positions on numerous regional boards, is an active community member, and has a history of legislative achievements.
We are optimistic that with Ned on board, our team here at MCA will move forward even more effectively as we give voice to Maine kids.
